A Brand Built
For Resilience.

Reimagining identity and voice to support a bold vision for justice and community.

About the Client

Just Communities Arizona (JCA) works to build just communities throughout Arizona by tackling criminal justice issues such as mass incarceration. The organization, formerly known as AFSC Arizona, began working with Javelina on their rebranding as they disassociated from the national AFSC to form a separate organization.

What We Delivered

  • A core identity that reflects a powerful vision for their organization and serves as the foundation for all their other materials: “Affirming the inherent and undeniable dignity of every person and the immeasurable worth of every community”
  • A rich and vibrant visual identity that symbolizes abundance, hope, and growth while tying in the organization’s grassroots history

Our Work

The visual identity and messaging Javelina created for Just Communities Arizona spoke to our brand’s values and the future we are trying to create beautifully, and has been a valuable tool in our growth over these past few years. I recommend Javelina to anyone looking for a distinctive, memorable brand that reflects the true essence of their organization.
